Scarification: It’s like tattooing with a scalpel
Here we go: I’ve recently discovered something very strange and different.
The art of scarification (and yes, at this level, it’s an art) is unique in that the artists carves about 3mm into the skin in order to create a clean scar on the body. This can be combined with “skin removal” to essentially create a tattoo that’s a lot more subtle.
I’ll be getting a “test strip” this summer (just a simple pattern down my thigh) to see how my body scars and waiting a year to see the long term results and healing process
